Bigger may not be better.  Hot shot loads utilize a pickup truck with an average 24-30 foot trailer. Trailers are usually lower to the ground for easier loading and can be fully tarped. Hot Shot hauling is a great choice for LTL loads, smaller loading and unloading areas, or expedited delivery. With our Hot Shots we can help tailor a better solution. 

Partial truckload freight falls between LTL and full truckload, typically involving freight over 5,000 lbs or 4 or more pallets. Partial load shipments can be a more cost effective way to ship if you can't fill a whole truck, but more economical than LTL freight.  

When to choose partial truckload freight: 

~Low density freight; light but large surface area 

~Fragile freight

~Lower cost than LTL shipping 

~Time-sensitive freight  (moves because of minimal stops over LTL)
